Sclerotherapy and Laser Treatments for veins
At Gentle Touch, we offer two advanced treatments for unsightly veins. Our Nurse Practitioner can inject the unwanted veins with a sclerosing solution or we can treat smaller vessels using ND Yag laser technology. In either treatment, the target vein will immediately shrink and then dissolve over a period of weeks as the body naturally absorbs the treated vein. Treatments will also close the "feeder veins" under the skin that are causing the spider veins to form, thereby making a recurrence of the spider veins in the treated area less likely.
ND Yag laser technology can be used on veins which are smaller in size, while sclerotherapy is used for larger veins. Your nurse will help you decide which is the best treatment for you.
